A Fortnight of Awareness featuring
Organic Food Standards and the National Organic Mark

Trust Organic has several aims.

• Promote the new Australian Standard for Organic and Biodynamic Products
• Consult about the National Mark - a logo for the domestic market
• An awareness campaign to help consumers identify genuine organic products

The OFA will host high profile events, such as the organic trade conference, a Sustainability Forum, OFA Awards Dinner as well as a wide range of media and other events to promote Trust Organic.

Trust Organic will start with the Sustainable Profits Conference (19 & 20 August), in conjunction with the Organic Expo & Green Show -
Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour www.organicexpo.com.au.

The OFA Awards Dinner, the main annual organic dinner, will be held on Friday August 20.

Trust Organic Fortnight will generate a lot of media attention on certified organic products and the benefits of organic farming systems in mitigating climate change, and increasing bio-diversity.

Apart from the official OFA agenda, the whole organic community is invited to participate in celebrating 'being organic' under the Trust Organic Fortnight banner.

Organic events are always worth celebrating. Trust Organic Fortnight is a special occasion to promote your product, shop, farm, community group or event.

Trust Organic 2010 finishes with an Organic Festival in Perth on 5 September.
